Last winter the BMW 3GT (F34) 20d display device did not work.

If 'Control Display' does not work

I can not see the navigation and I do not get the help of the parking assistance system. It is very difficult to park in narrow parking areas like Korea.

If you need to drive or park right now, open the trunk and look for a 'fuse box'.

The location of the trunk fuse box is on the bottom of the second row seat.

Therefore, you can check if you open the 3GT trunk tray.

1. Opening the trunk fuse box cover encloses the fuse box instructions.

Refer to the fuse box manual and search for 'information (navigation)' fuse.

2. The '121' fuse governs the information (navigation). Therefore, pull out the fuse and check the condition.

3. If the fuse is blown, replace the fuse

If it is not, I will mount it again.

Information that works again

When you plug in the fuse, you can see that the information system works well with the sound of the radio.

At the same time, the parking assistance function will be activated again.

Then why? Did the information system not work?

The reason is the voltage.

When we test the voltage of the vehicle, we get about 11.87V

This is probably due to the over-power of the battery as it continues to work on large power consuming devices such as cold winters, short runs, hot wires and black boxes.

The solution is it charges the vehicle's battery by high-speed driving for more than 1 hour and recharges the vehicle's battery by using the battery charger.

MTF & DCTF

MTF & DCTF 70W SYNTHETIC is a transmission oil designed to improve the transmission feel of the Hyundai Kia 7-speed DCT transmission.

The packaging differs according to Hyundai Kia maker.

So why did you want to improve the transmission?

The DCT transmission is designed to be based on a manual transmission, which causes a slight shift shock in the low gear.

To improve this with a gentle transmission feel, the manufacturer has created a special transmission fluid and is recommended when working on dedicated service (Hyundai: BLUEHANDS & KIA: AUTOQ).

The manufacturer of the product is GS

Sales are distributed through Hyundai Mobis. The manufacturer of the oil is described as GS, but it changes into another oil company depending on the production period.

I also use mtf & dctf as a genuine transmission oil for the Elantra diesel passenger car that I am driving.

It was appropriate when you inject the transmission fluid and use the four seasons of the Republic of Korea.

Especially in the winter, there was no gear clogging even if the temperature was below minus 10 degrees.

This is due to the PAO ingredient added to the oil.

CAS number '68037-01-4 refers to PAO and this ratio is more than 80%.

Therefore, without a synchronizer, the first and second stages are tightly engaged, creating a smooth transition.

According to the MANUFACTURER'S MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES, it is stated that 1.9 ~ 2.0L is injected and 70W should be used as the standard lubricant.

MTF 75W/85 SYNTHETIC

There is one more genuine transmission oil.

MTF 75W / 85 SYNTHETIC oil.

The part number is 70W. If the rear part of the part number is KX1B0, the back seat part number of 75W / 85 is KX1A0.

Viscosity is a little high.

The original manufacturer used MTF 75W / 85 SYNTHETIC as DCT transmission oil, but developed DCTF 70W to improve transmission and fuel efficiency.

And interestingly, the viscosity of all-wheel drive manual transmission oil before DCT transmission was 75W / 85.

The DCT transmission was then released and the recommended transmission fluid viscosity for the manual and DCT transmissions was reduced to 70W.

So, as you can see, the Elantra Diesel (Korean name: Avante) has a transmission oil viscosity of 75W / 85.

It's a 2015 car that came out in 2014.

All of the transmission oils I mentioned are 'ultra low viscosity oils'

My personal recommendation is to use 70W for low-displacement manual transmission vehicles

It is recommended to use 75W / 85 for sports driving and vehicles with a displacement of 2000CC or more.

In the case of a DCT transmission, unconditionally injecting a 70W product will have a good effect on the transmission.

I live in Korea and I am the owner of Hyundai Elantra 1.6 diesel vehicle.

The newly installed tires are Nexen NPRIZ AH8, which is equipped with tires for production on Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors. (OE tire)


The price is also low (70,000 won for Korean money) and the performance is not high-performance tires, but it is good for daily driving.
